Alex Iwobi has been told he must improve his game in two areas by Marco Silva.

The Nigeria international started each of the Blues' last two victories against Lincoln City in the Carabao Cup and Wolves in the Premier League - managing to score in both - but there are still parts of the game Silva believes Iwobi can get better in.

"He [Iwobi] has been improving in one important thing - that's scoring goals," the Toffees boss said during his press conference today.

Silva believes Iwobi's previous Premier League experience has helped him settle quickly at Goodison Park.

"But we are happy with him, he is working really well and when a player in his position can score important goals for us that gives him confidence and a boost.

The Everton manager spoke about the excellent start the 23-year-old winger has made after his deadline day £28million move from Arsenal.

"That is one of the things I told him I would demand from him.
