Dominic Calvert-Lewin has addressed Everton's new system after helping his side to a 3-2 win over Fulham on Sunday afternoon.

Fulham got themselves back into the game in the second half and dominated much of the closing stages but Everton were able to hang on.

The 23-year-old made it 2-1 after a great move from led to a dangerous Lucas Digne cross which was perfect for Calvert-Lewin to slam home.

And Calvert-Lewin believed that he certainly benefited from the change in the first half, but found things a little more difficult in the second.

"I thought in the second half we didn't play very well, we didn't have much of the ball.

In the second half we didn't really have much of the ball and it was more about digging in and winning fouls and free kicks.

The striker told the BBC: "I'm pleased but I think the most important thing today was that we got the three points.
