Michael Keane says consistency is key following Everton's win over Bournemouth on Sunday.

Second-half goals from Kurt Zouma and Dominic Calvert-Lewin handed Everton their second victory in nine games and the defender admitted the Blues started the clash slowly.

"I think consistency is the key now.

If we get a loss let's not make it two or three let's try and get back to winning straight away.

Everton returned to the top-half of the Premier League table with victory over the Cherries and Keane added that consistency is now key during the latter stages of the campaign.

Keane, however, reckons there were glimpses of Everton's potential once they found their footing in the encounter.

"We just want to get on a good run and see where it takes us," Keane added.
