Manchester United have been given an enormous lift in pursuit of two lesser-reported January targets, while Barcelona have come to a terminal decision on the future of Philippe Coutinho, according to Thursday’s European papers.

However, one of the quartet made up for grabs, it’s suggested that Man Utd Piatek is seen as most disposable; the Pole having something of a lean spell this season and apparently told he can move on for €40m.

It’s said Mandzukic will arrive as a cut-price replacement for Piatek, who is also wanted by Barcelona, but most likely set to sign for United – something which we reported on earlier this month – with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer keen to add more firepower in attack to his side.

According to il Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan are willing to listen to offer for Man Utd target Kryzsztof Piatek, Wolves fancy Franck Kessie, as well as star winger Suso and prized goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Ironically, the same paper reports that Milan have agreed terms over a January deal for Mario Mandzukic; the Croatian strongly linked with a move to United.

United’s spending won’t stop there, either, with reports in Germany claim the Red Devils have made an enquiry to sign Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria.
