Everton are back in action on Wednesday as Leicester City visit Goodison Park.

The Blues will be taking part in their third game following the return of the Premier League, and have enjoyed two positive results in their previous matches.

Carlo Ancelotti's side followed up a hard fought 0-0 draw in the Merseyside derby, which they were unfortunate not to win, with a 1-0 victory over Norwich City last week courtesy of a Michael Keane header.

Leicester travel to Merseyside having picked up two points from their league matches since returning to action, and on the back of a 1-0 defeat to Chelsea in the FA Cup at the weekend.

Everton will have Yerry Mina to call on once more as the defender returns from injury with Djibril Sidibe, Theo Walcott and Fabian Delph all still sidelined.

But, how will Ancelotti change his line-up? Our writers have given their suggestions on what they would like to see happen.

Phil Kirkbride - Gylfi Sigurdsson has earned a recall after making a difference in both of his substitute appearances so far in the re-start.

Anthony Gordon also deserves a recall and needs a run of games in the team to show what he can do.

Bernard, who was disappointing against Norwich, should be the one to miss out.

Other than that, Everton should stick with the same team that started at Carrow Road.

Hopefully, Moise Kean - who has come off the bench 19 times in the league this season - gets a decent chunk of minutes.

My team (4-4-2): Pickford, Coleman, Keane, Holgate, Digne, Iwobi, Sigurdsson, Gomes, Gordon, Richarlison, Calvert-Lewin

Base must be the same

Adam Jones - We all know the old saying by now - if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Everton won last time out and earned a hard fought draw against their arch rivals in the match before, so clearly they can't be described as broken in any way.

They could, however, maybe do with a bit of fine tuning in some areas.

In any case, the defence should stay the same. Michael Keane in particular has more than earned his place in the line-up despite the return to fitness of Yerry Mina.

It's in midfield where things could maybe do with a change. Against Norwich, Everton seemed to look more comfortable with Gylfi Sigurdsson and Andre Gomes as a central partnership, so maybe that should be given a chance from the start.

Alex Iwobi's great performance at Carrow Road means he should retain his place on the right, while Bernard should have the kind of creativity the Blues will need to break the visitors down.

The strikers are a given, of course.

My team (4-4-2): Pickford; Coleman, Keane, Holgate, Digne; Iwobi, Gomes, Sigurdsson, Bernard; Richarlison, Calvert-Lewin

Must-read Everton FC news Tom Davies energy needed

Sam Carroll - With the exception of Alex Iwobi in the second-half at Norwich City, none of the options used by Carlo Ancelotti in midfield have particularly impressed for Everton since the Premier League restart.

With Leicester City still looking likely to be playing Champions League football next term, this is where the Italian will need that to change.

Tom Davies remains to add energy with Gylfi Sigurdsson unlucky to miss out but Anthony Gordon returns to replace Bernard, who was ineffective at Carrow Road.

It is also too soon for Yerry Mina as the defence remains the same.

My team (4-4-2): Pickford; Coleman, Keane, Holgate, Digne, Iwobi, Davies, Gomes, Gordon, Richarlison, Calvert-Lewin
