Everton boss Marco Silva has been given three games to save his job after a poor start to the campaign.

Silva has come under fire as the Toffees have dropped to the relegation zone after losing their last four matches in the Premier League.

According to the Daily Star, majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri has told the Portuguese boss that his job is safe for now but the axe could still fall if he suffers heavy defeats in the next two fixtures against West Ham and Brighton.

It is believed that Silva will still be at the helm when Everton take on his former club Watford at home in the Carabao Cup on October 29 in a must-win situation.

If the ex-Hull boss shows significant sign of improvement during those three encounters then it is believed that his job will be safe.

It has been claimed that Silva is confident he can get the team back on track but understands the pressure is on after his meeting with management.

Silva's bid of saving his job starts next week on Saturday at Goodison Park against in-form West Ham..
