Here are the Everton morning headlines on Friday, May 22.

Ancelotti admits Kendall ambition

Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti has admitted that he hopes to emulate the achievements of the legendary Howard Kendall.

The club recently celebrated the 35th anniversary of their European Cup Winners' Cup victory - and that included a viewing of the documentary 'Howard's Way'.

And the Italian says that it was good to learn more about the club's history - as well as about Kendall, who led the team to two top-flight titles and an FA Cup as well as European glory.

"This is the goal that I have here at Everton, to try to be a good manager like Howard Kendall," said Ancelotti, who was playing for Roma back in 1985.

"I hope one day to bring the team to another final."

Kean on way out - reports

Moise Kean could be on his way out of Goodison Park this summer, according to reports.

His agent Mino Raiola is said to be ready to find him a new club - and that could be Roma, who are believed to be already keeping tabs on him.

Reports in Italy suggest that Kean would consider a loan deal.

The 20-year-old signed for Everton from Juventus last summer for a fee of £25.1 million - but has managed only one goal in all competitions.

He has also struggled to make a mark on the starting line-up, with the majority of his appearances coming as a substitute.

Tosun in Ancelotti admission

Striker Cenk Tosun suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury while on loan at Crystal Palace - and Carlo Ancelotti was the first person to ring him.

"He said how upset he was for me and that he hopes I make a full recovery as soon as possible," Tosun told Fanatik.

The 28-year-old managed only five appearances while at Selhurst Park, and has since been recovering from the surgery he needed.

He continues to work on his rehabilitation at the Finch Farm training complex.
