Everton sensation Richarlison epitomises the Toffees’ future, but the Blues have reportedly named their asking price for the Brazilian, according to CalcioMercato.

The Italian publication ran a report on Monday suggesting that AC Milan had joined the ever-growing list of clubs chasing the winger’s signature, having opted against signing a new left-sided playmaker in January.

Other potential candidates for I Rossoneri include Allan Saint-Maximin from Nice, who is quickly becoming something special in France, and hopefully, for Everton’s sake, the sleeping giants of Serie A opt for the Frenchman over the Blue’s Brazilian.

If Gennaro Gattuso does prefer Richarlison, however, the Toffees board have reportedly set their asking price at €80million (£70m), which would signal a potential £20million profit on the £50m spent to sign him in the summer.

But rather than taking a relatively small profit, Marcel Brands and Marco Silva have to ignore the temptation to sell, as the six-cap international can be the figurehead at Goodison Park for years to come and ensure the Toffees keep up a dynamic style of play rather than returning to the rigid days of Sam Allardyce.
