Everton are 'on track' to reveal new stadium designs after the first stage of The People's Project public consultation proved to be a success.

And Stadium Development Director Colin Chong now believes the club are on track to reveal stadium designs in the summer of 2019 as they enter the second stage of public consultation.

The Blues organised a roadshow for 19 days to get as many Liverpool residents involved in what will be an important stage on the road to a new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock.

Everton CEO Denise Barrett-Baxendale told "We are very grateful to everyone who has taken part in our first-stage public consultation for The People’s Project.

This consultation stage will prove crucial to when the club submit formal planning applications for both the new stadium and for plans at Goodison Park in the second half of 2019.

"We know that Evertonians, as well as everyone we have engaged with, are keen to see our stadium plans and we are on-track to publicly present our designs as part of our second-stage public consultation in the summer of 2019.

"Our ambition is to create a new home for our football club which will drive new levels of profile, commercial opportunity and on-field success for the Club.
