Everton star Richarlison has found himself at the centre of a bizarre dispute between two of his former clubs.

Fluminense reportedly sold Richarlison to Watford for a fee of £11.2m - and had a clause which would earn them 10% of future sales, meaning they should have got a windfall from Everton's signing of the Brazilian.

The Blues completed the big-money signing of the Brazilian from Watford in the summer, and the 21-year-old has instantly slotted into Marco Silva's starting XI perfectly.

However, the deal to take Richarlison from America Mineiro to Fluminense was reportedly to be paid in two installments, one of which was due in August this year.

Richarlison made his senior debut for America Mineiro in July 2015, but made the £2m move to Fluminense in December of the same year after scoring nine goals in 24 appearances.

The forward is now a crucial member of the Everton squad, already scoring seven goals in the Premier League this term to cement himself as the club's top scorer - playing either from the wide left or as a central striker.

America president Marcus Salum told Globo Esporte (via SportWitness ): "The president of Fluminense came three times to Belo Horizonte, saying that he would pay, he would pay, he would pay… And he did not pay.
