The Marco Silva era at Everton begun with a road trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers, but the boss’ second campaign with the Toffees will commence at Crystal Palace on August 10.

While we could not manage to beat Roy Hodgson’s side away from home last season, we did beat them in our October encounter at Goodison Park, thanks to goals from Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Cenk Tosun.

The Blues will then face Watford on August 17 as the squad look to put an early positive stamp on our latest quest, before a trip to Aston Villa is followed by Wolves travelling to Merseyside on August 31.

The first Merseyside Derby of the term will not come until December, though, before we host our local rivals Liverpool on March 14 for the reverse fixture.

Silva will be hoping our campaign does not fall apart over Christmas this time around, but sadly the festive period looks rather challenging for Everton, with our away day at Liverpool opening a torrid December, featuring Chelsea, Manchester United, and Arsenal before we welcome Burnley to Goodison on Boxing Day.

The turn of the Year, meanwhile, brings about a trip to the reigning champions Manchester City, who Silva could not orchestrate a win against when the two sides met last term.

Our 2019/20 season then concludes at home to Bournemouth on May 17, with Everton at home on the final day for the first time since beating Norwich City 3-0 on May 15, 2016, when James McCarthy opened the scoring in the 19th minute.
