Morgan Schneiderlin could be on his way out of Everton after struggling for form and playing time this season.

Everton spent £24m on Schneiderlin in 2017 but Liverpool Echo say the Toffees could agree £15m for the midfielder – a £9m loss after two years.

Everton would have to spend a sizeable amount replacement the quartet.

So, if Schneiderlin also departs, he could be the fourth midfielder to leave in one summer.

It doesn’t help that the Toffees aren’t getting back every penny they paid for the 29-year-old either.

Schneiderlin has two years remaining on his deal at Everton, but he might have to leave to guarantee a starting place.

The 29-year-old made only 14 Premier League appearances in 2018/19, spending the majority of the campaign out of the matchday squad.
