Many Everton supporters have been reacting on social media after the Toffees were linked with Juventus superstar Moise Kean.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, we have recently made contact with the Turin outfit with a view of bringing the 19-year-old to Merseyside this summer, although it was not stated whether that was with a formal offer or a mere enquiry for the Italian.

Kean’s future at the Allianz Stadium is currently in somewhat of an unclear state, as despite setting the Serie A alight in the 2018/19 season with a goal every 89 minutes (scoring six in 13 appearances), he only has a year remaining on his contract with the Old Lady.



Juve had offered the 3-cap Italy international a new deal earlier in the year in a desperate bid to avoid the situation they now face, but the Torino product refused their offer in December, and he has not yet signed the proposed €2million-a-year (£1.7m-a/y or £34.2k-a/w) contract reportedly placed on the table in April.

But even with a year left on his contract, a move for one of Italy’s hottest prospects would not be cheap, as his TransferMarkt valuation has shot up from £13.5million to £36million in the last six months given his breakthrough into the Juventus and Italy first-team, with whom he has two goals in three games.
