Ian Wright believes Chelsea were lacking 'creativity' in their 1-0 defeat against Everton and says none of their players looked 'comfortable' in possession.

Chelsea were far from their best against a well-organised Everton outfit, with Gylfi Sigurdsson's penalty ultimately enough to separate the two sides.

Two of their most creative players weren't in the squad as both Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech missed the game with a hamstring problem.

'No one was comfortable on the ball,' Wright told Match of the Day.

Alan Shearer was impressed by the defensive display of Everton, adding: 'Their closing down was really impressive.

More: Chelsea FC. 'Whenever anyone was on the ball for Chelsea, they were closed down straight away and didn't have any space.

They could have been there, I thought, for another two or three hours and they wouldn't have scored.
