Jean-Philippe Gbamin is confident he will be able to adapt to the Premier League from the Bundesliga in a positive manner.

Adapting from Germany to the Premier League isn't an easy task for any player, but the 23-year-old is confident he can achieve it smoothly.

"Both here in the club and also out on the street and around the town, people have been really positive and really cool with me - everyone who has been up to say hello."

Moise Kean joined Everton shortly after the arrival of Gbamin, with both taking part in their first USM Finch Farm training sessions on the first day.

The midfielder was handed a rather unexpected debut for Everton in Saturday's opening match of the season against Crystal Palace, replacing the injured Andre Gomes just before half time.

"I think there was a high standard of new signings and a high standard here before and you can't help but learn from experienced guys like Delph."

"That, in turn, gives me an inner confidence - the fact that they've shown such positivity towards me."
