Everton's coaching staff knew Dominic Calvert-Lewin would equalise against Liverpool as soon as the cross left Lucas Digne's boot - because Jurgen Klopp heard them say so.

Klopp believes Liverpool had done well to limit the amount of times Digne was in position to pick out the Premier League's leading scorer but feared the worst less than 10 minutes from time - especially when he heard the confidence from Ancelotti's backroom staff.

The Blues responded to Mo Salah's volley, that put the Reds 2-1 up at Goodison yesterday, by levelling the game nine minutes later when Calvert-Lewin headed home Digne's centre.

“The second goal, we avoided pretty much all situations like this over the 90 minutes but one time we let Digne cross," Klopp said.

Good goal.”
