Plus analysis and reaction tonight as well as post-match comments from Jurgen Klopp and opposition manager Marco Silva are available below too.

Liverpool thumped Everton at Anfield this evening to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table.

Ian Doyle and Paul Gorst provided live commentary from the match plus goal and score updates which you can read back over below.

Divock Origi opened the scoring after just seven minutes and the Reds made it 2-0 through Xherdan Shaqiri just before the 20-minute mark.

The Reds are unbeaten since January in the domestic competition and extended their 20-year unbeaten run against their local rivals at Anfield with a 5-2 victory tonight.

It was the most amount of goals ever scored in a single half of a Merseyside derby but the second-half was a much more controlled affair with Gini Wijnaldum adding Liverpool's fifth deep into the game.

However, Origi restored the two-goal advantage after half an hour before Sadio Mane made it 4-1 on the stroke of half-time only for the Richarlison to score the Blues' second in stoppage time of the first-half.
