Marcel Brands wants to get Everton into a position where they only need to sign "two or three" players each summer.

Around 20 names have left Everton this summer as the director of football went about trimming a bloated squad but Brands hopes high turnovers of players will become a thing of the past.

Marcel Brands has spoken exclusively to evertontv about the summer transfer window – and revealed the untold stories around every signing the Club made in advance of 2019/20.

The Blues made six signings in Brands' first season and added another seven new faces this year.

"My goal for the long term is to bring this club to a situation, like the top clubs, where you do two or three deals – two or three new players, maybe two or three players out [in each window] – that should give the Club more stability," Brands said.
