Everton v Chelsea

Sunday 17 March, 4.30pm

Everton host Chelsea at Goodison Park on Sunday and there will be host of activities taking place around the ground ahead of the big match.

Ahead of kick-off, Everton will be celebrating the Level Playing Fields campaign, an initiative which recognises access and inclusion for disabled sports fans across the country.

We’ve got a packed programme ahead of this fixture – see below for a guide to what is happening across the Fan Zone, Matchday Hub and more.

The Fan Zone opens at 1.30pm, with live music coming from “The French Scouser” Gus Barreteau.

Former Blues defender Michael Ball be on stage to talk all things Everton and will reveal the afternoon’s team news from around 3.30pm.

There will be interviews with Colin and Mike Cheeseman from the Everton Disabled Supporters Association (EDSA), as well as with Neal Hickey and Tony Taylor from Level Playing Fields.

As ever, there will be a chance to win a £25 gift voucher in our Play Your Cards Right game, joining in our picture quiz or taking on our fan challenge, Blue v Blue!

Head to the Park End car park for all off this, the usual array of food and drink refreshments and more!

Open from 1.30pm, the Matchday Hub continues to be the perfect pre-match hot spot for Blues of all ages.

In the build-up to Sunday’s game, the Hub will be offering face painting, crafts sessions, music and a games area, while our friends from Match Attax will be in attendance all the way up until kick off.

Everton in the Community will also deliver three football coaching sessions: Ages 5-7 at 2pm, ages 8-10 at 2.30pm and ages 11+ at 3pm.

Food and refreshments available include a children’s meal deal of chicken nuggets or a giant sausage roll with fries and soft drink for just £5 and an adult offering of steak and ale pie, chips, peas and gravy for £5.50.

The food bank will be set up under a gazebo close to Cahill Corner in the Fan Zone.

Supporters are encouraged to drop off non-perishable goods to help local people in need.

Priority items include UHT milk, long-life juice or cordial, jars of sauce, tinned meat, tinned vegetables, instant mash, toiletries and washing tablets.
It is the ideal setting for Evertonians to chat about all things Blue over a cuppa prior to kick-off.

Evertonians can grab a coffee and something to eat before the game in a relaxing atmosphere at the Community Hub. It will be open from 1.30pm and will provide pre-packed sandwiches, tea, coffee, soft drinks and snacks.

*St Luke's Church will not be open ahead of this fixture
