Mohamed Salah became the third fasted Liverpool player to 100 goals with his strike during the dramatic 2-2 draw with Everton.

Salah’s century of goals see him become the 17th different Liverpool player to reach that landmark.

He started the 2020/21 season in prolific form by netting a hat-trick in a 4-3 opening day win over Leeds.

Salah has now scored 100 goals in 159 appearances and played a huge role in helping them win last season’s Premier League and the Champions League in 2018/19.

Roger Hunt, who played for Liverpool between 1958 and 1969, is the quickest player to reach 100 goals as he achieved the feat in just 144 matches.

Richarlison was sent off for an awful challenge on Thiago Alcantara and it looked like Liverpool had won it in stoppage-time as Jordan Henderson struck through Pickford.

However, his fantastic strike on Saturday was not enough for all three points at Goodison Park in an eventful Merseyside derby.
