He will become the third fastest player to score 100 goals for Liverpool if he nets against Everton on Saturday.

Mohamed Salah could set an impressive Liverpool record this weekend.

Roger Hunt, who played for Liverpool between 1958 and 1969, is the quickest player to reach 100 goals as he achieved the feat in just 144 matches.

Salah’s century of goals would see him become the 17th different Liverpool player to reach that landmark.

Salah has scored 99 goals in 158 appearances and played a huge role in helping them win last season’s Premier League and the Champions League in 2018/19.

The German coach said: “He scored twice against Villa but he would like to score in other games when we win.

“How I said, the skillset of Mo is outstanding but without his attitude, he would not be the player he is.
