Jonjoe Kenny has an uncertain future at Everton, with the right-back having strugged for playing time at Goodison Park.

Seamus Coleman has been first-choice under Marco Silva and is expected to keep his place in the side next season, meaning Kenny could find himself on the periphery.

He embarked upon loan moves to Wigan Athletic (July 21, 2015 – September 20, 2015) and Oxford United (January 27, 2016 – May 9, 2016) before he was promoted to the senior squad and may have to be sent away from Goodison Park again.

Silva said at the end of the season that he will hold talks with Kenny this week before a final decision is made.

The 22-year-old could be sent out on loan in 2019/20 to ensure he gets regular playing time.

His contract at Everton has three years remaining, so he needn’t worry about his long-term future so long as he continues to impress.

Since rising through the youth ranks to the Everton first-team in 2017, Kenny has made 39 appearances in all competitions.
