According to Jack Gaughan of the Daily Mail, Fleetwood Town have rejected a £200k bid from Everton for Billy Crellin.

The Daily Mail say any deal for Crellin is likely to include performance-related clauses.

Fleetwood may have to cash in early rather than risking losing Crellin for nothing in 2020.

It’s common for the first bid to be rejected, but the Toffees could succeed in their pursuit of the shot-stopper as Fleetwood will want to get some money for Crellin.

The 19-year-old is highly-rated, has represented England at youth level and has interest from Manchester United, Arsenal and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Crellin made his senior debut for Fleetwood last season, playing a full 90 minutes in the EFL Trophy against Rochdale on October 9, 2018.

The Englishman may jump at the chance to join a Premier League side too, so a deal could suit all parties.
