Everton boss Marco Silva says he would love it if Evertonians could recreate the atmosphere from the Merseyside derby when Chelsea come to visit Goodison Park on Sunday.

Evertonians raised the roof in the last home game at Goodison Park, and helped the Blues take a valuable point from local rivals Liverpool and there were many statements from players and management after the game that the fans had been “the 12th man.” Now, Silva wants to recreate that atmosphere to help the Blues overcome Chelsea in what would be only our 10th win over the Londoners in the Premier League era.

Silva told his pre-match press conference, “If our fans can repeat the atmosphere, it would be fantastic for all of us.

“Last weekend was tough for them and they didn’t deserve it.
