Wednesday's transfer speculation is primarily served up by a range of foreign publications.

In Brazil, UOL Esporte includes Everton on a list of potential suitors for Ajax attacker David Neres. The 22-year-old, who won his first Brazil cap earlier this month, is reportedly also on the radars of Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan and Atletico Madrid.

Turkish outlet Hurriyet claims Nigerian forward Henry Onyekuru would be open to the idea of spending a second season on loan with Galatsaray from Everton.

Marco Silva tells the Liverpool Echo of his plan to have "big competition" for midfield places at Everton next season.

The Echo, meanwhile, assesses the immediate future of two of Everton's England Under-21 internationals.

Mason Holgate's loan club West Bromwich Albion were beaten on penalties by Aston Villa in Tuesday's Championship play-off semi-final.

Holgate has excelled on the right side of defence during his four-and-a-half-month Hawthorns stay and the local paper advances the idea Holgate's versatility could make him a valuable figure for manager Silva next term.

And manager Silva has told the Echo he is poised for discussions with right-back Jonjoe Kenny over the possibility of the Goodison Park Academy graduate spending next season out on loan.

The Echo reports on Everton's end-of-season Dixies awards. Lucas Digne won the Club's player of the season, while the players' player prize was shared by left-back Digne and Idrissa Gana Gueye, the formidable Senegalese midfielder.

Centre-back Michael Keane was given the Chairman's Blueblood Dixie. And the Echo picks up on quotes from Bill Kenwright, who compared England international Keane to Brian Labone, the immaculate former Everton defender who holds the Club record for appearances by an outfield player and in 14 years at Goodison won two league titles and one FA Cup.
