A 78-year-old woman described as "out of this world" by her heartbroken husband drowned in the bath after suffering an epileptic-style attack.

"We both loved life, loved rock and roll and we were always dancing together until my legs went."

The retired shoe shop assistant was looking forward to going on holiday to Llandudno with her partner Jim, also 78.



Today, Coroner Claire Welch ruled the 78-year-old had suffered an epileptic-type attack after hearing how she had been having occasional dizzy spells in the five weeks prior to her death.

The avid Liverpool fan, who enjoyed friendly football banter with his wife as she was an ardent Evertonian, added: "She was out of this world.

Rosemary Coffey tragically died after getting immersed in water in the bathroom of her home in Widnes, one week before last Christmas.
